Ditchlite version of F40PH joins the lineup

An initial defect occurred in one of the model train cars imported last month. The base had simply floated due to the vibrations of shipping, so I added it to my collection instead of returning it to the U.S. mainland. Late appearance of F40PH, ditch light version.

Foreign type EMD F40PH

The one on the left is the version with a ditch light that was released this time, the one in the center is the initial lot, and the one on the right is the one released several decades ago? Made by Lifelike.

If you look at it this way, if you look only at the body shell of Lifelike, it looks like it's doing a surprisingly good job. The dimensions of the undercarriage are ridiculous (lol)

The blue color of this F40PH is different compared to the initial model. It's a blue that looks like a slightly stronger blend of cyan and magenta, giving it a firm feel. The black is also slightly glossy. Since it's a late model, it also has an air conditioner.

Life like and Kato F40PHs

The ditch light version I saw in college, and the early version I saw in middle school. Both are cool (^ ^)
